2: My girlfriend actually invited them in once. They honestly made a very good case about what we needed to chance to improve our isolation and our heating system. Truthfully, we were very interested. They even gave us all the details about the different government incentives to act now.

But when we asked them to give us an estimate, they kept going on and on about needing to verify if we "qualified" for their financing program. At one point I stopped them saying I didn't need to qualify for anything as the way I was gonna pay them was my buisness, I just needed an estimate of the work so I could wrap my head around the project.

They didn't want to give us one right now because "that's not how we do things" and I told them I wouldn't do anything until I see a detailed estimate of the work they wanted to do.

We've never heard from them again.

These guys aren't in the isolation/heating buisness, they're in the financing buisness where they'll do the job, but it will end up costing you 35-50% more because you pay interests over a long period of time.

A complete scam, that's hidden behind actual work.

Last time I went there was because was prestone was low and I suspected there was a leak, the guy dropped the cap in the air filter and it slid down the air intake and it took him an hour to retrieve it.

worst thing that happened to me though was at the Mazda dealership, they did an oil change, but the rookie mechanic working on the car forgot to put new oil in there, so when I tried driving the car the engine completely seized up, and they had to replace the whole (frank)ing thing

Car is at the garage right now, changing my prestone tank for the 2nd time this Summer. Just hope the first garage that did it put an old one to save money and it was already cracked (had to get towed when I went to Saguenay earlier this Summer)...cuz if it's a motor problem that causes those issues, I'm afraid it's gonna be the end of the road for my old car.
