Hughes and Gorton genuinely felt they had a chance to be in the mix with everyone healthy, that's it. now Laine, Guhle, Slaf, guys are getting injured, poop happens. it hasn't been looking great after 7 games but there's still 75 games to play, the season isn't over.

I think they set internal goals.

Which is fine.

If the expectation is not to push for a playoff spot, then I am not sure why they play. It might be an unrealistic goal, but it is one they are all (attempting) to accomplish.

We all knew it was going to be a long season and the hope most people had was that they would not be out of the playoffs before Christmas. No one was realistically believing they would make it in.

People are losing their poop for no reason, we are not even 1/10th of the season yet.

I'm not a Trump supporter, I think he shouldn't be there. But I'm also aware that a lot of people can benefit from telling lies about him. Each end of election cycle, some stuff like that gets out and some people just believe it blindly while others remain skeptical, I give him the benefit of the doubt because a lot of stuff that's been said about him has already been proven false or just completely lacked substantial proof to back it.

And I also don't hate everything that's Democrat. I actually prefer their stance on abortion, among other things.
