I think Evans can be a 3rd line C down the road and Beck will probably be their 4th.
- BashCH

I had kinda "given up" on Mesar after his subpar junior seasons, but he's off to a good start in the AHL and could even be in the mix eventually

I think it was a very average performance from Kolosov, he wasn't necessarily to blame for the loss but he wasn't a savior either lol.

the most interesting moment of the game for me was when Seeler prevented Couturier from fighting Xhekaj, the flyers somehow got a powerplay out of it, wtf.

my pendulum has sort of swung more towards football in recent years. i don't know if it's because the game changed or because the flyers just don't seem the same since ed snider died or what. when i was a kid football was number one, then hockey was number one for years and years but now it feels like football is my number one again.

the flyers going through a rebuild and having a coach that you particularly don't like surely doesn't help.

I think there have been very questionable management appointments the last decade+, which has probably made following a team that does not have a clear (or continuous change in) direction hard.

We went through that here.

Whether you like or agree with what HuGo is doing in Montreal, at least they have a plan and direction, which they are sticking to... I find that has made a big change in my engagement with the team.

At least he has other options in Philly.

We have the CFL or the dumpster fire that Saputo keeps pouring fire on.

i also just don't feel it like i did all my life with ed snider there. i took for granted that he would always be around. you always knew they'd be competitive and fun to watch and that when they weren't it wouldn't be long before they were again. it's weird but somehow i knew things were really gonna be different as soon as the news broke that he had died.

yeah, for sure. personally, even if there were successful NBA and NFL teams in Montreal I'd probably still just watch the habs, because hockey is enough pro sports for me, but having other options does change things.

Snider passing away probably does symbolize the end of a whole era for flyers fans, but I'm sure if they manage to continue the rebuild in a more efficient way, hockey is surely gonna become more captivating for you eventually.

That's the Michael Vick influence.
