Faceoffs are a team effort. How do you not know that? - MJL
Which player takes the faceoff?
What player gets the faceoff stats?
Frost goes in for a draw, the other center gets the puck to his defender behind him..
Which player won and lost the faceoff?

What do you think Luchanko learned watching that from the press box? - Dkos
How to properly use the popcorn machine to his personal preference of butter and salt ratio? |

Luchenko isnt out as a punishment so he isnt learning anything.
Foerster is learning he needs to play better to stay in the lineup. NHL players need to have the mentality that their spot is not guaranteed. I bet if Torts could hed scratch even more players. |

I don’t know why everyone is mocking Nic D. From what I saw Nic D repeatedly punched the caps guys fist with his face and owned him in that fight. |

ND should never see NHL ice again. He skates like a beer leaguer. Oh, but the other team has big bad Tom Wilson! Yeah, but Tom Wilson can play the game. This team is about 3 injuries away from getting the most ping pong balls next spring. Yikes! - Phillywhiteout
Tom Wilson would be the leading scorer on the Flyers. He has outproduced every single player on the team by at least 20%.
You want an actual hockey player who can fight, a wayne simmonds type, not side show Bob (ND). |

This is going to be a turning point to stardom for both Foerster and Luchanko

The team who winds up with the puck, won the faceoff. How do you not know that?

Come on man, how about when the center wins a clean draw, and the other team wins the race to the loose puck. Who wins the face off?
It goes both ways because it's a team stat as much as anything.

Under rated trade that changed Flyers history. Flyers trade their 1st rd pick (pretty sure at the draft) for Steve Eminger. Caps select John Carlsson. That one hurt. |

I hated that trade more then the Schenn for JVR trade. Everyone except the Flyers seemed to know Eminger was not a top pair D

Anyone notice the difference Deslauriers made that period? Took some nice shots to the face and then fired up the crowd. He represents the standard and the oozes culture. - MJL
😆 Deslauriers seems like a last hurrah move from Torts. |

Hitch was 1-6-1 when he got canned. Getting close. and no Briere does not have the balls to pull the plug that quick. - Trox88
Comcast won't use dough on a new coach. I guess Rocky 🪨 takes the helm if Torts think this fragile flyer team hurts his legacy. |

Yes. That one stings. If we keep the pick, absolutely sure we pick some no name who’s now working a 7 11 in Saskatchewan rather than Carlson |

Well, on a few positive notes, Couturier seems to be having a decent game, and I love the way Michkov seems to find the open man with a near perfect pass more often than not. |

I know this is gonna piss off a group but I don’t think Couts has been that bad. Coach has to give him a fair shake. |

I thought so until Torts just moved him away from Michkov and Tippet….said he didn’t like what was happening? I thought Coots has looked good this period…what do I know ? |

Agreed. Coots will never skate fast. And I think when Torts talks about playing fast he sometimes doesn't take in to consideration thinking the game fast. That is something that Couturier does very well. Granted he needs to play better and he may never be that 74 point Selke guy again, but Torts just needs to leave him alone and he will find his game.
Torts needs to leave a lot of these guys alone. Start listening to his own words and let them play 10 games before he starts evaluating.
