Almost every shot/chance in the first period is golden.
Could be like 5-5 already |

Hey welcome back.
Defense optional so far
Rangers seem to be ok with high octane offense games because we have a soon to be 12 million dollar goalie behind them lol |

Totally. I was just saying that we are a step slow in every zone. |

Rangers resorted back to individual play and spreading out too far. Makes it easy for Florida to defend and outnumber. The shift they were fore-checking well, they were closer to each other and cycling. |

Brukie did say they've won every game they should and now is a real challenge.
Ducks!
Not saying they don't come back in the third though. |

This game feel’s demoralizing as a Rangers fan knowing that we just don’t match up well against them. Idk if it’s a system thing or what not. They legit grind you down and take away your transition game. It’s legit the same thing we talked about in the playoffs. They won’t commit to a forecheck and certain players on this team don’t win 50/50 pucks. Idk if it’s a battle level thing but I tell ya Mika just doesn’t look interested or engaged especially on the PP. I have a hard time rationalizing keeping him on PP1 and Laf not. Knowing you’re going to have to get pass them to get to the promise land doesn’t looking good for us. They don’t pass the eye test as a team against Florida especially when Bob is outplaying Igor. |

other than some parts of the 2nd there i thought the eye test has been fine. bobs made a few 5 star saves, and igor let in a relative softie.
not overreacting to this one just yet. hope the 3rd is more like the first.

Yea rangers played a solid first. Florida was better in the second. Bob has made a few big saves
Not worried at all even if they lose tonight |

The game feels like the playoffs last year. No outlets, stretch pass attempt and 1 on 2/3 when trying to skate the puck into the O-zone.
You watch Florida, they stay close to the puck for support on offense and defense. |
