Because Ranger fans can’t let a day go by without complaining about something. 5 on 5 were good now, so it’s Zac Jones riding the pine now that has people’s panties in knots
I’ve said it forever, we have the worst fans in sports. Exhibit A- Brukie - Slimtj100
And the Rangers have the (frank)ing dumbest fans aka Tj |

Glad we sent Rempe down. He doesn't add anything at this point, and needs to become a way better player before being a regular NHLer. |

So many great saves by both goalies. Rangers created their chances. Score easily could have been 6-5. |

He has been playing soft since he signed the new contract.
Season is still very young, cant make any predictions, we will see how it progresses. |

yeah - very young for sure. im a bit disappointed in the way it shook out last night honestly, more so than i ever thought i'd be for game 7/82.
turn the page and all for saturday, they've got a lot of time and a lot of games to figure it out. just a bummer that you know you're probably going ot have to get through this team again and they throw that out there. |

Memories sometimes die hard. The game was played in catch-up mode the whole night and old (last year) habits looked to come through. HOWEVER, to not be negative on here, that is the learning process to flush out old memories. I trust in Lavi's coaching to learn and be prepared next time. Also, the end of the game showed a correction where the Rangers did tighten up the play and get the forecheck going. |

Frustrating game last night for sure, but that's what happens when you go down 2-0 to a really good team in the first 2 minutes. Mika didn't look good, which is a little more concerning considering Barkov wasn't playing, but trying not to overreact at this point.
Mancini looked out of place a couple of times but I actually think it was a result of mistakes by Lindgren that left Mancini in no mans land. There was one play in the first where Mancini was joining the rush and Lindgren put a pass in his skates and it turned around and became an odd man rush the other way. I think Mancini got used to Jones passing him the puck.
The silver lining is that Laf is turning into a legitimate superstar in this league and next to Panarin and Fox is clearly our 3rd best skater in my opinion. They really need to get him signed because his price is going up everyday. |

Same problems from last year came out. Rangers refuse to adjust their style of play in tight space games. Forecheck, shots on net. Better zone exits and giving up the blue line to easily.
Rangers had 5 high danger chances vs 10. Igor let one low danger and one mid danger in. Defense was not good and Igor got outplayed by Bob. Rangers may not have the personnel to play a Florida style team |

I gotta disagree with you, the learning process is long gone, this is mostly a veteran team now.
It was a great game, lots of scoring chances on both sides. |

Rangers closing in on Lafreniere extension. Told by industry sources it will be seven year deal coming in at under $7.6M per. |

I can agree with this, despite the foul taste in my mouth from falling behind in the first minute. But, the fact is that with almost any goalie other than Bob in their net, we could have won that game. |

If this is true this will be a top 5-10 contract in the NHL by the time the ink dries - SkjeiStadium
so the contract starts next year when he turns 24 years old in October 2025 and takes him to age 31
fabulous

In boxing, certain fighters simply don't match up well with certain boxers. Their strengths are perfectly cancelled out by the opposing boxers style.
That's how I see the Rangers going up against the Panthers. They are simply our kryptonite and I'm not sure how we can change this. So concerning too because Florida didn't have Barkov last night and Mika was still AWFUL.... |

true about Sasha but I think these teams are evenly matched- whoever can play the fastest will win |
