It’s basically just Panarins line
- TPC

This post is not about CK- love him.

Mika and CK play on the same line, play together on the PK and PP. play roughly the same minute nightly in the same situations and last year was the only time CK out produced Zib in points 75 to 72. Two years ago zib had as many points as Panarin

Lets get real

Look at that he let up and it was still an exciting hit. No injury

You're being somewhat disingenuous by not mentioning that Carrick having his head up made a difference, too.

Gudas had 2 BIG hits last night, both HARD but clean. One was on Carrick, the other was on LaFreniere. Fortunately both escaped serious harm!

I'm not the guy to help you with that.
But, it was a beautiful hit in open ice at the blue line. Carrick turned his head just in time to see it coming and got caught, shoulder to chest with no head contact. Stopped him in his tracks and he left the bench briefly.

It’s just amazing that this blog has literally become a place where Ranger fans like to troll other Ranger fans when one of their favorite players isn’t playing well.

Trouba does not let up. In fact he leans harder into it to cause maximum damage most of the time (within the confines of the rules). That’s the major difference in my humble opinion.

ANYWAY

we’re 6-1-1
1st and 3rd lines are revelations
Quick is still Quick
Lindgren scores

Lots to be happy about (except Michael zibanejad. Mika’s much pooptier at hockey alter ego)

I think the third lines play and production is the best surprise so far, we knew the first line would produce.

I love the Michael Zibanejad alter ego, (frank)ing funny!!

Thats his new name until he starts to produce!!!

The point is Krieder produces less than zib but nobody complains here about him (not twitter)

You can realistically compare them because they have the exact same minutes played

Ppl feel they need a scapegoat- last year it was mostly Goodrow. This year, so far, zib.

Positive post are met with crickets

Putting aside the part where Mika is center and kreider is a winger. Kreider is not the type of player to drive possession and make his linemates better. He might be the best role player of all time. He does what he does ay the highest level. Mika, on the other hand, has always needed the puck on his stick to be effective. Dancing through defenses, ripping shots, setting up teammates. He’s not doing much of any of that right now and is forcing his role player linemates to pick up his slack

He fell in love with shooting at Kreider rather than on the goalie
