Perhaps but it deserves a deeper dive than “it’s an unfortunate result but completely unavoidable without fundamentally altering how the game is played”. I just don’t think the NHL is interested in that deeper dive, unless it pressures their wallet

Sadly, in the case of a player putting themselves in a bad position, there are no rule changes that can mitigate the injuries that come with that situation. When a player puts their body in a bad position, it doesn't even take a hard hit for it to result in injury. I would say that is a training/development issue more than a rules/hitting issue. Again, I am specifically speaking about players putting themselves in harms way.

I would hate for the league to go rule happy and alter the game when player training/development can be an answer as well.

Kakko, 60 points this season. Book it.

I can get behind this with a healthy Chytil. I do believe Chytil's play helps make his line better.

If the regular season doesn't matter and all that matters is the playoffs, why are you watching and commenting in October? Either accept the fact that these games do mean something and they have played well during them, or stfu and come back during the playoffs if you must.

I don't see the point of coming here all regular season and commenting that what we are watching and discussing is meaningless

Am I missing something? Doesn't look like he's tweeted since 2023. Granted I'm not on Twitter/X so I might be looking at the wrong thing

Stop being so sensitive, we knew this team was going to be good, the first few games were against non playoff off teams last year so they did their job and won the games they were suppose to. Leafs game was tough but Igor bailed them out.

5v5 has improved but to say anything after 6 games doesnt mean anything. A better sample size is needed and against better opponents.

Then why is it ok for you to make your pessimistic statements??
You are fine to go on being a doomsayer, but anyone that feels good about our roster has to shut up and wait and see?
We all know your opinions. Until something happens to change them, no one wants to hear them on a loop.

I'm not on twitter either but he has a post whining about Trouba from an hour ago.

I had googled Trouba to see if he had a hearing and saw that.

Lol to be honest I have thought about creating a new username for a few years now but want to know the reason I didn't?

Because I didn't want you to call me out as having "joined in 2024" like you do with so many others in an attempt to invalidate my response

I kid, but also somewhat serious haha

What really impressed me the most about last night was how the Rangers NEVER let up!

Up 4-0 early and yes Montreal upped their game and pushed back, but the Rangers keep their foot on their throats even late in the 3rd period.

This killer instinct hasn't been seen in these parts for a loooong time...

Listening to Dan Rosen and he was in the situation room last night and he said the whole group of people in there said it was an ideal clean hit.

So Colin Campbell, Kris King, Kay Whitmore, Rob Schick are said people

Hab fans can suck it

we have a team that is just as pissed off about not winning it all last year as we are

the good news is, I think Florida was really pissed off about not winning it all in 2023, so it's a good cycle

Holy guys. A whole page just dedicated to Brukie.

Let miserable things die alone.
Right now you are all joining his misery.

Rangers are playing some kind of excellent brand of hockey. I am sure they will go through a tough spot. 82 games is a lot.

You're doing the exact thing I was saying . I mean this with no disrespect, but it is a lazy position to take. Deserves further consideration beyond shrugging in my humble opinion

Rangers currently the best 5v5 offensive team in hockey
Have the best 3rd line in all of hockey

edstrom, carrick, smith, mancini/jones > goody, bonino, pitlick, wheeler, wennberg, gus.

Small changes but got younger and faster. They look like they are taking care of business each night. Need a good tdl from drury this year

You know this is just going to bring another round of whining about the Kreider/Price episode. I would love to see one, just one Habs fan have the stones to admit that Emelin caused the whole thing.
