I dont think that's how the story goes. He was a stutterer and when they recorded, he stuttered and they liked it and kept it in. ..or at least that's how I know the story. - Greschnergy#4
Well I am a little younger than some of you guys, so you may know more than me in this regard.

Not sure what trade value Jones has maybe a second round pick.
Lindgren is interesting. Would the Rangers really trade him? - Brukie
My opinion. Shop Lindgren. I like his game and he is a true warrior. But his style does not age well on long term contracts. AND, the Rangers were adjusting well without him. |

Ive played guitar forever but I took bass lessons for awhile simply because I loved the bass solo in My generation so much - jimbro83
me too - I play both (cant slap the bass tho)
How come nobody wants to talk about Trouba and Kakko - two guys that might make a huge difference for us that could have been traded away but weren't? |

Im senile- I think you might have been right - I have tickets for Burt Cummings in Westbury this spring. BTO's Randy Bachman and Burt Cummings formed the Guess Who- a band that has so many hits that you didnt know was theirs. |

Someone on here said they had a friend in common with Tom and that friend told the poster that Tom stuttered. Tom denied but the poster made another comment and Tom hasnt posted here since.
I think Pickle made a comment that he didnt like making fun of someone for that if I remember correctly. |

Lindgren is the exact mentality you want for the PO. Unfortunately like Cally his bodyt cannot play like that anymore. He is not as effective. If they can bring in a bigger mobile dman I would do it. Since it also seems he will not be back next year |

Probably does. Makes sense why he yells and types so much. Can't get the words out of his mouth in person

I would do it if they can get back a bigger mobile dman in return. I like a guy like Cernak from tampa if they sell |

Unless the money needs to make sense on a deal, I would be of the mind to keep Lindgren. He will probably be the better depth defenseman that teams look for going into the playoffs anyways.

I dont think the Rangers are resigning him. They could have signed him to a longer contract and didnt this off season. If Mancini continues to play well, its a long season and the Rangers are in win now mode, I wonder if they shop him at the trade deadline.
As it stands now, this team doesnt need a trade. Solid top to bottom. |

the team gave Lindgren the Broadway hat the other night, the locker room obviously loves the guy, why would they get rid of him just to get rid of him
it's nonsense

Some good things come from a stutter.
BTO's song "Ain't Seen Nothin Yet" was a gag song originally just intended to make fun of the dude's brother who had a stutter...turned into their biggest hit. - climbdenali12
Terrible song. (IMO) Can't stand the tone of his vocals and the chorus is repetitive. 3 mind-numbing chords.
I never liked Taking Care of Business, either. However, Let It Ride is so good that when I was young I always thought it was the Allman Brothers!! |

This is aligned with my feelings on Lindgren. My guess is they keep him through the playoffs because to your point they won't be selling and then hopefully just let him walk after the year.
It might not be the best asset management but what would they realistically get for him? A 3rd round pick at best? I'd rather have the depth for the playoffs. |

who cares about asset management when they've obviously put all their chips in on this season, the last season they'll have with Alexis and Shesty combined for 8 million cap hit |
