There's little to read from these first few games. It's probably best not to jump to conclusions. There was a coaching change, new players, new systems. While a 7 or 10 game winning streak out of the gate would have been great, nobody should have been expecting that.

No, it's not. But, if it's an early adjustment speedbump that is not indicative of what to expect for the rest of the season, then I am not bothered by it. If this is an omen of things to come, then I think we'll know better in another 10-15 games. If it was Keefe, I'd be more critical. It's a new coach and new systems, so I am inclined to give the team some slack until things start to click properly.

I don't agree. The powerplay problems are long-standing. You can read them like a cheap dimestore novel.

Re-sign Marner to 12 - 13 mill, Tavares for 8 m, sign some more experienced Dmen like Tanev, over the hill forwards like Patches and the ship should right itself.
