and like Myers over Lillybust is a bit rich. What are we even doing here? Just trade him already, but you're doing nothing for his value by benching him and playing AHLers over him. Benoit's looking kinda AHL too this season.

School chorus event. Just habit to say after school.

Go Leafs and Lightning!

I'm sitting in the truck waiting now, watching highlights and Marner piling up assists.

Specially after you extend him for two years at $3m per.

That’s been their secret sauce for years, not just a Leaf thing.

I know that doesn’t help.

Apparently teams were scared off about arbitration and wouldn't trade for him. The leafs were concerned he'd get more in arb too.

So at that point the option is sign him cheaper or potentially walk away from the arbitration award and lose him for nothing.

I'm sure they didn't bank on him being thoroughly outplayed through camp and the season so far by guys like Timmins and Myers. Because that's what's happened here and that part isn't on anyone but Lily.

Game 9 - but Benoit has looked poor in 3 consecutive games, you'll get no argument there. He looked decent earlier. On the backend I think Tanev and OEL have been the only ones to look reliably good - with McCabe having a few poor moments but mostly decent play. It sort of feels like everyone who was coached by Keefe for 4 years is taking time to adapt consistently to this style.

Here's my thing - I don't know if Liljegren is showing up to practice with a crap attitude or not working hard enough. I don't know if the new coach just wants to see some fire from him . . . I couldn't say. I do know that Liljegren did have one game and didn't look particularly like someone who wanted to stay in the lineup.

I also don't think Timmins should have been sat given that next to Tanev, he's probably been our most effective play driver. One is excelling at blocking shots and the other is excelling at closing gaps and preventing puck movement - but Timmins does lack physicality in his game.

My previous truck was a V8 F150. Now I drive a sensible Nissan small truck with a crew cab to haul around kids and groceries....and sometimes kayaks.

It was 2-1 and I go pee and come back and it's 2-3. (frank) Boston.

Nothing wrong with Nissan trucks. Brother has one, (07?) very reliable.

I enjoyed the hell out of my 77 280Z for many years as well

I used to own an old Datsun 4 cylinder that was a ton of fun but dangerous to drive.

Well they were built out of rusty, recycled 50’s era steel. They did not do well in salty climates or in Canada with salted roads. Same story with my Celica.

Agree in Benoit. He scares me. Timmins has been good but they need to get Myers into a game and next played well.

Progressively getting worse, can't even get the puck near the net anymore.

For the love of God stop (frank)ing wound and blow this powerplay up.
