i mean 6 picks in the first 2 rounds this draft. this is the time to strip it down - 2Real
If the Flyers 1st is not in the top 5 of this draft, inexcuable. Hagans, Frondell, Misa, Martone, Schaefer, and if u want a really big centermen McQueen. Being at the deadline again and stating "we want to give this team the opportunity to make the playoffs" is not learning from your past mistake. He needs to be in sell mode

But as you can see from their performance so far, lasts years run was valuable experience for these young players.
But seriously, it seems as if many of these players have regressed so far this season.

Wow, looking at this upcoming schedule, the Flyers could be buried by November 9th. Yikes! - Phillywhiteout
Thanksgiving is usually the mark on who is in or out. With just a couple of exceptions usually. |

I don't have an issue with any player under the age of 24 ,development being erratic. What I have an issue with is the stupid mind games and line juggling as someway of ascertaining a better performance. Since these players are your future if they F up on the ice so be it. You learn by doing, IMO. Putting them in the pressbox and changing linemates every period is just dumb.

Before this season started, you were criticizing Brink for being outscored by Poehling. Brink's defense on the whole as a Flyer, has not been an issue.
I'm as big of a Frost supporter as there is but he simply has to elevate his game. Other than on the PP, it's just not there this season. On either side of the puck. - MJL
Before the season started he had 23 points in 57 games last season. Now he has 4 points in 6 games this season. The offense has been there this season so far |

Much like everyone else Michikov had a rough game. Briere mentioned he looks slow on B2B games earlier in the season so no surprise their. Andrae looked Fine. Didnt really notice him all game asifde from a big slapshot and his hipcheck so thats good in my books. Id like to see him stay in the lineup |

They had 2 1sts and 2 2nds last year. They had 2 1sts and 2 3rds the year before that. The Flyers have not been short of draft picks.
Much like the decisions to send Jett back or to evaluate Andrae on the big club, the Flyers are the last ones to see what is in front of them. Stripping it down should've happened already. The Flyers should've already drafted a potential cornerstone. |

Didn't notice him being that weak on the defensive end and he had two outlet passes that led directly to good scoring chances. Laughts and Farabee did nothing with them, but that's their problem. Drysdale looks like a very poor man's version of Ghost and that isn't a compliment. |

Frost, Laughton, Farabeee; they are what they are and they’re not gonna get any better. The Flyers need to cut bait with all three at this point and just bring up some kids and play out the season. Andre did look pretty good tonight as I thought he would look he’s ready for the NHL. He shouldn’t be down with the phantoms. |

With centers like Frost, Poehling and Cates and even in a 31-year-old couturier this Flyers team is going nowhere. They’re going to finish near the bottom of the conference. You can’t win in this league without good center play and the Flyers just aren’t getting it nor will they get it this season with this group. |

so drysdale already looks like a poor man's ghost in his first season here? that's great - 2Real Just observing the way that he plays. Tremendously weak defensively and not enough offensive production to counteract it. He's a -9 on the season although I just looked it up and he played 25 minutes tonight. He desperately needs a defensive partner to support him and just maybe he would be alright. Frosty leading the team with a -12. He blows!

Andrae set him up with a great outlet pass and he took a great shot right into the logo of the goalie. A complete ZERO play! Not even a chance to create a rebound from an onrushing forward. The clock is ticking on him and Frosty. |

Ghost? lol. He wishes he were anywhere near as effective as Ghost was in his first few seasons.
Try Ryan Parent. Skate fast, do nothing. |

As I have said many times, Farabee is an OK player with OK skill. Teams trip over players like him. |

My prediction for record after first 10 games looking good. I predicted 2-7-1 |

Briere has re signed 5 players to extensions, I believe. I do wonder how often a team seems intent on re signing their own players who have not come close to winning anything. Now I'll be very simplistic that I would think accumulating draft picks offers the potential to draft a prospect potentially better. Certainly not a given, but doubling down on a roster devoid of above average talent seems risky. - Trox88
Risky? Sounds stupid more like it |

Kolosov is clearly better than Fedotov right now. Wonder if they send the big fella to the AHL? Andrae is clearly better than Zamula right now. Andrae can actually move the puck. The Flyers defend far too much game in and game out.
Sanheim had a nice game last night. |

I didn’t watch the whole game but from the highlights he looks like he moves better than feds.
Also, from the sounds of things andrae played well. Keep him in the lineup for gods sake. |
