I agree.

But I have been impressed with the progress of Slaf's passing/chance creation game.

I also felt like last year, he wanted to pass more to CC (or Suzuki) than shoot himself, where this year (and maybe the last 10 or so games games of 22/23), he was taking more shots / going to the net.

well to stop skating with his head in his jock helped him alot

I thought he came back to passing too much since the beginning of the season.

Yeah, maybe he just feels that they have a better shot, so he defers.

Won't have that problem on Dach's line...

On the upside, he is a more complete player than I thought he would become - just needs to shoot more.

Indeed, he's very good a retrieving and protecting the puck and there's still lots of room to get better. Future is bright with this kid.

They got Masson (who they bought out) and 2 draft picks.

Listen, Armia is not a total disaster, he is just not worth the contract. And because of the contract, folks have unrealistic expectation of his production.

That is 100% on the GM.

I mean, who is gonna say... no that is too much money for what I can do, pay me less?

Armia is fine.

And will be gone in a few months, one way or another.
