Thank you, my friend!

How's the guitar playing/practicing going?

- Snots33_77

it's nice, trying out weird songs to cover on acoustic which sometimes makes it really interesting. I wish I could play more, but thus is the life of living in an appartment building.

I imagine you're still enjoying your little private music shop of guitars you got going on?

I too suffer from living in an apartment, my friend. But it's a luxury apartment and is a little bit more sound and quiet. BUT.....this is why i poured $4500 into my last 2 amp heads that have the ability to knock down the wattage and volume, yet still drive the tubes at low volumes or via headphones.

And i just spent this evening adjusting the necks of all of my acoustics because of the weather/humidity change.

And what weird songs? And are you trying to make them your own? Or just figure them out acoustically?

That poop is garbage anyways. There are better ways to prove that you can play and NOT sound like a Nintendo jerking off.

sounds like you're taking really good care of your poop, that's nice. it's kinda worth it when you have a collection like that.

yeah, I guess it's an impressive Guitar Hero song to complete but other than that I always thought it was way over-the-top, in an unnecessary not good kind of way lol.

Fantastic, my friend! I have done a ton of guitar maintenance tonight and am on my new laptop for only the 2nd time since the purchase. I've been so busy I havent been able to enjoy much.

I'm hoping for a great Habs effort and an ugly NY Jets loss tonight.

How have you been?

To me, this maintenance is very stressful!! Because yeah, you can have $40k WORTH OF GUITARS......but if i were to pay for annual or bi-annual maintanance.....it would be over $2K a year.. Or $4K if it was bi-annual. So i have the proper incentive to learn how to perform certain maintenance functions to help keep me NOT BROKE!!

Your dollar is at risk with the Jets! Hopefully they pull Rodgers and but "Teen Wolf" in there. Thats the only way to get a victory.

And yes, Guitars are made of wood (mostly) and they're still living and breathing and taking in moisture and heat which changes the "relief" on the neck>

This is why the more i'm getting into professional guitars that i'm shopping for "roasted necks" which basically roasts all of the moisture out of the wood so the elements havee zero affect on the neck and the neck stays true dipite weather, elevation, temp swings, altitude etc.

You'd really notice when youre on tour. Thats where i struggled. I speent SO much time pre-show just tuning and tuning all of my guitars! Was stressful...

I have to bring it in to the shop. Then i have to worry about the person back there doing the work and having the same approach or knowledge that i have.

I rebuilt my old touring guitar (Ibanez RT-10) in the States and a young guy was in charge and he poop the bed with it. Not happy. So i tend to take over at that point
