It’s a big year for a bunch of guys. He definitely is on that list.

I’m sure the Flyers will do everything they can to raise his value….

Very solid in their own end tonight…Ersson was really good. Made the ones he was supposed to and some that have been going in so far this year. They don’t all have to be Picasso’s

Aisha Tyler. Beautiful and I always liked her on “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”
- Dkos

I’m with you there. She was clever on E, too. Or at least her writers were.

I’ll raise you Emily Ratajkowski and Jessica Biel.

Also, I was partial to Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen. She looks quite different without the whole dragonrider get up.

For older picks, Padma Lakshmi had her day, too. Even in her 50s she’s aged incredibly well.

Assuming Ersson is going to get a majority of the starts for the next while they need to send one of their goalies down. While i think Kolosov is probably the 2nd best goalie, i think they should send him down to get some playing time. He can always be recalled.

I get your point however, the next time we need someone to spell Sam, it should be Kolosov. Feds needs to play as well. I'd send him down right away on a conditioning stint. My hope is that he's been working hard with the goalie coach on the side IOT work on the flaws in his game. I think he needs a lot of work though.

The Flyers did everything I was hoping they would do in the 3rd, played smart hockey, good decisions, kept their legs moving, and shutdown the Bruins to the tune of only 3 shots allowed. This is the way this team has to play, at least for now.

I was really impressed with Risto, he was a beast once again, especially on the PK. Andrae was really solid and made good and quick decisions as QB on the 2nd PP unit. Cates is awesome defensively, always in position, the Flyers need him in the lineup. Frost had another bad game IMO, Couts looked slow again to me, and Michkov had a rough game also. Farabee was pretty much non existant until that nice play at the end to break up the pass and ice the game.

When York comes back, the Flyers have got to find a way to keep Andrae in the lineup.

Glad you got to see a rare win in Boston. I've seen quite a few Flyers games there and it normally doesn't go well.

The narrative from Boston radio on the way home last night was the Bruins lost to one of the worst teams in the league; shut-out by a team that has given up 40 goals in 9 games. They went on to say the team hates their coach, there is something wrong in the locker room and they don't understand why the team hasn't fired Montgomery yet.

In other words, ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS!!!!!!

Andrae NEEDS to keep playing. He even mixed it up a bit on that roughing penalty. They're a much better team with him than Zamula right now and the EA can't be sitting.

I hope everyone watched McAvoy last night. Does he is look like a stud defenseman to you? Just another example of just because a team pays a player like an elite stud defensemen doesn't mean that player is one.

Yes, I think Zamula has to be the one who sits. Eric Johnson may be old, but the guy is excellent on the PK, uses his size well to protect the crease and his reach to push plays to the outside. He had a good game last night.

It's very quiet on here after wins. Why is that? Frost still sucks and Michkov had his worst NHL game to date (4 giveaways). Thankfully his blunders didn't cost them, but he looked like he was fighting it last night. Andrae looks like a serious upgrade over the supposed interpreter, but still a small sample size. Thanks!

I don't want him sitting long term though. I don't think he's waiver exempt or I'd just send him down. He's still got potential whereas EJ doesn't

I've never been a Frost supporter. I'm sure many will agree this is his make or break season for his career with the Flyers.
- Glak18

Yes, for sure. The thing is, how long do we have to wait for Frost to put it together. I think Craig Button had it right a couple of years ago. Frost will eventually get it but it will be with another team. I think the Flyers need to trade Frost by the deadline this year.

Another player I am worried about is Tippet. Last night he had some grade A opportunties and missed the net every time. Does this guy even practice? You see on the first goal by Foerster, if you have a greate shot and great release, just get the puck on net, good things will eventually happen.

For sure, I think the Flyers would be good to swap Zamula and EJ in and out of the lineup depending on the opponent. A team like Boston or the Wild, EJ is in. A team like Montreal, Zamula is in.

The Bruins are a tough team in the corners and beind the net. Michkov is going to have to learn teams know what he can do with the puck from behind the net and they are just not giving him any time. Last night Michov tried a Michigan and it was broken up right away. This isn't the KHL son, that kind of fluff does not work here!

You're attempting to inflame and it's not going to work. Yes, McAvoy played like a stud defenseman. When McAvoy was on the ice, the Bruins were at 56% in shot share and scoring chances were 15 -9 in favor of the Bruins. That's what a stud defenseman does. He shots down the opposition and carries play.

Here is what the rest of the hockey world thinks of McAvoy. Your comment of just because pays a player like an elite stud defenseman doesn't mean that player is one. Is beyond stupid

https://www.nhl.com/news/...-ranked-top-20-defensemen

McAvoy ranked #7 in the league

https://www.si.com/onsi/b...op-10-nhl-defensemen-2024

McAvoy honorable mention. Just outside of the top 10

https://forums.hfboards.c...seman-in-the-nhl.2956908/

McAvoy ranked #5 on ESPN top 10 defenseman

https://thehockeywriters....om/nhl-top-10-defensemen/

McAvoy #5 in the league

Your bias against Boston for whatever reason leads you to make asinine comments such as you would take Konecny over Pasternak

Still, it was neat to see and it means teams really have to be on guard for it. When all the focus shifts to MM, then it opens things up for his linemates.

Frost has already put it together and been a good player for the Flyers. He just needs to get his head out of his ass this season and get going.

I'd put Zamula in every game over Johnson.
