Lardis seems to have the highest likelihood to be that guy at the moment. Nazar is showing well in that regard also. We'll see what guys like Boisvert, Kantserov, Hayes, James and Greene end up being.

Michael Misa is tearing up the OHL. 17G and 9A in 13 games with Saginaw. 6-1, 185 lb LW. If he's around when the Hawks select I'd like to get him.

IMO it is always bet available, but I hope that is a projectable top 6 power forward. Hakw definitely lack that in the system, and your scorers need someone to get them the puck.

They need forwards with scoring skills

They do, but you draft best available, and if best available is a RD with Toronto’s pick, you take him. While the defensive prospects seem like high quality, you never know how they’ll pan out. This team needs to keep drafting talent, sure preferably centers/forwards, however no need to reach, draft best available as they’re still rebuilding.

Found this scouting report.

Speed and agility
Misa is quick and agile, with strong edges to break away from opponents. He's also dangerous in open ice and can score from almost anywhere.

Playmaking
Misa is a smart player who makes his linemates better with his vision, playmaking, and ability to execute while tightly covered.

Passing
Misa has strong hands and can make quick and accurate passes. He's also known for his short area passing, hitting close range passes from seemingly impossible angles.

Physical development
Misa will need to continue developing physically to succeed at the NHL level. He may also need to improve his defensive game and bring more consistency to his 5-on-5 play.

Sounds like a bigger version of Berkley Catton.

Anyone have a reported lineup? Wondering if Kurashev is staying on the top line.

I really like their tactic of drafting a kid who has all this ability and size but is raw playing hockey late in the 1st round. Just like drafting speed demons in the 3rd round or another raw player like Spellacy. Many of these kids are also wearing letters on their respected teams which is another positive in my opinion.
