He'll be fine, April 18th is a long way away there little buddy. He does seem to be a bit of a headcase, kinda like you and Donna, but hopefully he turns it around offensively sooner than later. - Pacificgem
You just figured this out?
Hopefully not too many sweeteners need to be added if they trade his sorry ass. |

How many sweeteners do we have to add to trade your sour ass? |

Teams would be crawling over each other to add to a young 100 point player like that. So much drama on the left coast. He'll be fine. |

I've been over on the Bruins thread poking the bear, in a nice way, he's probably upset they are where the Canucks were eight years ago....a sinking ship!! Lindholm has one assist and he's -6 in his last seven games with the Bruins, great signing. |

100%...would be typical of the Canucks to give up on a young player only to have him flourish in a better environment. Why do you think the Canucks never win the Cup, in part? The fans and media are so hyper-focused and intense they run anything and everything out of town at the first sign of a struggle.
In the U.S. no one would even know, he'd just be doing his thing, kinda like Mason McTavish who's having a poor start to the season. No one even knows, or cares. |

He will not be fine. Stamkos has been cooked for years. 3 points , 8 games -8. He should be on a PTO |

No they would not. Canucks fans are desperate to unload his contract but other teams are desperate to take on the riskiest 8 year commitment in the league? Fat logic |

He had 40 goals last year, he's hardly cooked, but he is 35 years old in three months. He's just in a new environment with new players, probably lots of outside noise for him to deal with (family stuff) along with hockey. |

Who has been run out of town by the Canucks fans and the media? - Danny Bomber

Edit: it's not just the fans and media, it's also the organization at fault. They feel the pressure from the fans and media and make dumb decisions partially from that. |

Mike Sillinger? - Reubenkincade
Poor development is mixed in there as well, which has to do with poor management and impatience. It's just a recurring story with the organization.
Most recently Jared McCann is a prime example of that. Benning and the Canucks kept him up when he wasn't ready because they were desperate to win, something, anything. Poor development, fans got on him because he wasn't the second coming of Trevor Linden.
And don't bring up the "is what it is" statement, he said that because he felt he should've gone higher in the draft. Young cocky kid. Not unlike you, except you're an old cocky midget.
BTW....how's McCann doing now? 28 year old center with 14 points in 11 games this year. Yeah, Canucks don't need that. |

With such a bold statement, I would've thought you'd have a list ready to back up your emotional post. |

Oh there's a list. But if you don't know the names then you're not a real fan...which I knew all along. |

5v5. He was a PP specialist and he can’t even do that anymore/ can’t skate. Nashville is done and it’s glorious |

Power play points count too. They also make a huge difference come playoff time. Special teams can win you a series. |

I'm just like you, except taller, smarter, and better looking....I'm an old disgruntled Canucks fan who's been watching them fu ck their way through 50+ years of NHL seasons. |

There wasn't a direct reference to him, I'm just saying he wasn't quickly becoming a fan favorite like Linden did with a 30 goal rookie campaign. Everything has to be spoon fed to you guys because you can't read between the lines. #idiots |
