I saw earlier posts whining about the game being boring. This is a necessity! They had to find some defensive structure cause they were getting absolutely mauled 5 on 5! They are finding their game, and the offense should follow if Torts leaves the lines alone for awhile and just lets them play with this defensive structure in place. Thanks!

No issue with that opinion. My opinion is there are better ways to develop defensive habits with skilled fwds. I do not mind the discussion.

I have no issue having it if you’re respectful. We can disagree.

Nice! We give out big bars from Costco so we get a lot of kids. Went through almost 5 boxes at 30 bars each. We got slammed and was worried I'd run out. Next year will be Friday so will need an extra box

What kind of financing did you get lol. Candy bars are ridiculously expensive.
My neighborhood is small so maybe only 20 plus kids.

An attractive woman is an attractive woman doesn’t matter if she is a bleach blonde or natural.
I’ve known hot women that could never keep a guy because they were a total b word. Then some just cute chicks that were great and had guts fawning all over them.

Absolutely, personality can change a person's level of attractiveness, but when you don't know that personality it's hard to change what you see.

Only time I use the word "hot" is when I see a woman who I have to scream "DAAAAAAMN", others I guess throw it around easier than me. To me a stunning woman is one that you still have to take that second look and realize she's not wearing makeup (or at least obvious makeup). Makeup is to enhance, not to cover up.

I’m just gonna keep saying this. Many will think I’m a “Torts supporter” (been waiting to say this awhile) but I don’t care what happens in October or the first half of the season. People keep saying the kids have to play and Nick D is a slug who should never play. As true as this may be, right now none of this matters. If Brink misses a game, than what? He forgets how to play hockey? His chances are short of making the hall of fame? Guys, it’s October, who cares.

Amen! I saw a post from someone who said how most on here want them to tank but then whine about ND and EJ in the lineup. The haters should want ND and EJ playing to secure a better draft position. Hilarious.

We had our Halloween on the 26th last Saturday, the wife said it was over 200 kids that visited the house while I was dressed up. Everything was completely gone and I got no leftovers, but she forgot to hand out those light up bracelets though. So anyone need 100 glow bracelets?

You don't seem light in the loafers to me. I was just laughing at the comment. I actually agree with the natural comments. Give me a simple country girl that doesn't give a $hit about makeup and still looks good, and I'm happy. Live and learn, but I still think Frosty's Mom is pretty hot!

Absolutely nothing wrong with a sweet country girl, that's for sure. I ended up with a Caribbean Diva, but there's appeal to every style and every type. I just like more distinctive looks.

Yep! The Flyers rely on the old vets who suck and are useless! They need to play the kids who are much better! But I want them to tank even though they are one of the youngest teams in the league. The reality is that I just want to spend my day on here complaining about my favorite team bc no matter what they do, it will suck.

The only thing that could curb the complaining is if the Flyers had a player that could realistically be considered one of the best at their position. So whether they won or lost, people could still say "Oh yeah my player is better than your player, they have this many points and their corsi is super duper!".

Could you imagine the Flyers having a player that could be nominated for the Hart almost every year? The Flyers could lose 8-5 every night and fans would be happy just because that player got 4-5 points.

If Lindros would have stayed healthy he would have won a handful of Harts. We had season tickets back then. That dude was a stud!

The loaders whiners call everyone else whiners but have no idea what they want out of this team. They just want to whine. You want them to win or do you want them to lose? If you want them to lose, play your worst players! Simple.

Lindros probably would of won a lot more things too, but sadly durability, IMO, is an extremely underrated attribute of a player. A player could be one of the best there is, but if they don't play, they make zero impact.

There have been arguments about who is better than who in every sport, but not as much respect is given to the players who perform for longer.

You have players like Bossy, Lemieux, Orr...they all have that asterisk (*if they didn't get injured or have this happen). Sure bad luck is unavoidable sometimes, but the ones who can stay healthy and still perform, that's a skill in itself, can't take that away from them.

Totally agree, one thing that Lindros had a problem with was keeping his head up. Left himself vulnerable for the big hits. We were at game 7 of the Conference Finals in 2000 when Stevens laid him out. Brutal hit and he would have been suspended for 20 games in today's game. Flyers win that game and they win the Cup (Dallas was battered and Jersey beat them easily) . Learning to protect yourself is a skill as well and Lindros never learned that skill to his detriment.
