Mika’s contract is buyout proof and trade proof so he’s gonna have to figure it out

I haven't read or watched the whole story yet on Mika being upset about reduced ice time, but I'd love to know how he doesn't get that consistently playing to about 47% of your potential might have consequences.
It's crazy to think that he and Miller are now the roster spots that are most worrisome.

My wife had our first son on Sunday so playing a bit of catch up. I know Mika bashing is in these days and he’s certainly not without some blame with his play to date but that Brooks headline was classic clickbait. If you read the article he is being asked how he feels about getting less ice time and he essentially says “nobody is happy with playing less.”

Then Brooks makes it seem like he’s seeking out reporters to tell them he should be playing more. He was answering a question he was asked with IMO a response 99% of the league would give.

Some people just want him to sit there and say “I suck and should be playing less, they should take me off PP1 and try to trade me.” It’s fine to sit on a forum and say those things but what pro athlete says that to the media?

I feel like I’m used to us playing more games than average so this is kind of nice knowing we have a bunch in hand. But yea, everything about how the NHL runs its league is nonsensical

Devils played 2 in Europe before we even hit the ice, right? I get your point, though.

I just took a look at the standings and was shocked to see that we are 4th in the division!! Devils in 1st with a win %age about 100 points below ours.

That Corley play is the epitome of the Jets problems. If belichek is coaching him he gets sent to the locker room for the rest of the game and probably inactive a few weeks after that

You guys held a Houston team without Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs to 13 points and still only won by a TD. Rodgers is ass and is going to have you guys limp to a 7-10/8-9ish record, blaming everyone else along the way. I don’t say this to be mean. I’m a giants fan. We suck ass to the nth degree. Daniel Jones shouldn’t be allowed to look at a football much less be a NFL QB. But yea, the Jets are done. Pray they lose as many games as possible. Your life will be better for it
