I'd still would rather have Lafreniere than any other player taken in 2020 draft including that diving bastard on Ottawa - jimbo83
Over/under on dives tonight by him? |

Agreed. Stutzle and Byfield being centers makes it a tough choice but I'm still happy with that |

I think it depends on tonight, if they play well and its a satisfying all around effort, they'll want to keep the same lineup sunday
if it's a poop show, they could change it up vs Isles
I can't believe they brought Matt Martin back though good lord - jimbo83
Kind of shocked they didn't bring back Clutterbuck. Lou has certain players he can't quit |

Amazing. I can’t win here
I was attempting to have a pleasant conversation with Brukie for once and Rick stuck his nose in YET AGAIN
He sucks right now!! Yay!! Can I have a cupcake now? - Slimtj100
It's ironic to me that someone who is so bipolar can't manage to see both sides. |

Mat Barzal has returned to Long Island due to an upper body injury. A time frame will be announced after he sees team doctors.... |

The field, because GM's never get fired in-season. But Lou should be fired first. |

SkjeiStadium --- Congrats on the birth! Hope the child and the Mom are all OK!
Hopefully Miller can redefine and improve his game quickly because the added minutes of ice time being on the 1st pairing are revealing his flaws.
Rempe is not getting as much playing time this year because quite simply:
Edstrom has been significantly better! |

Sounds like it’s tense in Isles land. If they fire Roy that would be an epic mistake imo. That roster isn’t good enough is the problem. It got old pretty quick |

Tj, you can defend someone but also recognize he has struggled. I like Mika, have for years. But I can also recognize he is not playing well. That doesn't mean I have a referendum against him. Same with Miller, who I really thought turned the corner in the playoffs a few seasons ago but reverted back to prior ways unfortunately.
Not every disagreement has to be a fight or a personal attack, comment made to all. - airjan23
Are you sure? That doesn't sound right. |

All we are asking for is a healthy dose of current reality to go ALONG SIDE the optimism and love for the player.
I stated (again) yesterday that Zibby is one of my favourites since he came here. Especially given the manner in which he came to us!
But, that doesn't mean I can't be realistic about his actual play versus his potential play.
And I wouldn't even go so far as to use the term "sucks." He is still almost a point per game. But, I feel he has been fortunate that he is. Because he is playing timid and hesitantly. Those are not the hallmarks of a successful NHL player and he should know that!! I anxiously await the day he figures his poop out and gets back to the way he can play. |

I literally typed out the words
“I want to have a pleasant conversation with Brukie”
Allllll because I defend a guy who’s bled Ranger blue for 8 years that most people clearly forget. Where he hasn’t even been terrible. He just hasn’t been as good as the 8 years prior
I think I need a new blog. I clearly cause too many problems 🤷🏻♂️ |

It's not, this is just the expectation of what anyone that could look at the team objectively over the last 2 years + this season has been waiting on.
Lou should be capable of selling Nelson and Palmieri at the deadline for good returns that will kickstart a retool/rebuild but after that he is inarguably the wrong GM to guide the team through that process.
All aboard the Tank Train now |

He doesn’t get enough credit for the hard minutes he plays here (not you). Which is ultimately my problem with people about him. The man has played very hard minutes for a very long time in this uniform. And for that I’ll forever appreciate him
No doubt he’s struggled, but I forgive him I guess

TJ, you know I defend all the time for being a 200 foot player and how solid he is between the dits, But I also have to be honest and note a player faults or issues when that's warranted, irrespective of the player. If we get 2021 Mika in the playoffs, the team will explode. |
