It was a win against the Ducks. Expectations are higher this season. Fans are not going to get excited by a lopsided win over a really bad team. They want wins against the elite teams in the league.

Not to dump on Pouty after he scores, but there was a moment in the game when you could tell Hughes and Miller were so frustrated with him. That poor kid is struggling to find his game right now. Never seen anyting like it.

Petey hasn't been great but he's been creating in almost every game. Bunch of near misses and set ups that wingers haven't capitalized on. He has to start shooting more bcus I haven't seen his one timer or that vicious wip-wrist shot that generated a ton of goals in the past. If he strings together a few multi-point games - he'll be back to PPG - maybe everyone will chill the Fawk out about him.

One thing that a lot of donkeys here like yourself have excluded is that Petey has been directly responsible for us winning a handful of games already. Set up the winner in Philly & Chi game, started/ignited the scoring in the Pitt game, had a monster shift that led to the Suter goal in the SJ game. These all go overlooked. keep up the whiney rhetoric tho - you're awesome at it!
