Curt Cobain was way too dark and cynical for me. Unrelenting bleakness to the point of unlistenability. A great artist for sure, but I can't listen to it.

Hard to argue with you on this. There are some artists that present seriously depressing music, Neil Young comes to mind. Bowie was unreal live, saw him many times including a couple of smaller venues and at huge stadiums in Europe. As you say properly, he was awesome.

I loved the Rock Star series. I stumbled across the show just when Dilana started to sing, Lithium. It was a WTF is happening moment. I woke up my wife and made her watch it. We were hooked. Super Nova sucked ass as a band, but the competitors on this show were super talented.

Saw Bowie 4 times... 3 times at the forum- 78 sister took me as a 14 yr old..she was awesome..83 and 95 epic... and in 04 at the Greek Theatre... simply insane everytime...

That show was awesome, JD Fortune seemed destined for a huge career and rumour was he couldnโt stay away from drugs and INXS dropped him like a bad habit.
Replacing Michael Hutchesson was a tough assignment for anyone.
So was Rockstar Suoernova and Lucas Rossi who I think was from Toronto?
