Hahahaha! It’s just that Mark Cuban (billionaire and former owner of the Fallas Mavericks) said that Trump doesn’t surround himself with strong women. But he does and promotes them…..turns out it’s more of an indictment on how Cuban ran his Mavs team which he had several sexual assault accounts and whatnot.
Sooooo Cuban projecting on Trump.
I’m a fan of neither. I just think people in glass houses throwing stones is hilarious - Snots33_77
huh, interesting. I thought Cuban was among the "good guy" millionnaires, but I guess there is no such thing lol.
Yeah, almost too cold to get out on a good morning bike ride to get the energy going. Gonna have to pack that away soon... snow will be here soon enough, anyways.
Always get super fidgety in the winter months, without that semi-regular morning (or frustrating after work get the poop out of my system) pedal. - Mashadar
Funny, one of the reasons I went to the cottage was to grab the spin bike..
I was looking for you because I have been contacted for a job out in Edmonton that pays around $130K a year plus bonus plus plus. Just wondering if there is affordable housing and living out there at the moment? I have t lived in Alberta since 2008.
Any info would be helpful and greatly appreciated old boy! - Snots33_77
Jesus with that money, you sure you need affordable housing??
Also yes, especially in the surrounding communities, so depending on where work is, Beaumont, Spruce Grove, St. Albert, Leduc, Sherwood Park are all nice communities.
My buddies boy bought a new home in spruce grove this summer.
Was like 550k, no finished basement mind you, but has a triple car garage.
You do not want to be in the city, it’s like, well, you know..

Thank you SO much, Pete! This is SO helpful! Here, $550,000 will get you a delapitated crack house that you have to bulldoze and fumigate.
The job is in the SE as per the info. And when i lived in Calgary, I actually preferred Edmonton after my visit.
I'm in the construction industry now, which I've been in since 7 years old (thanks italian dad).......so an unfinished basement is my (frank)ing jam, Pete! I'm a tradesman!
I might tke this interview after all as iIm just chasing my tail and drinking myself to death in Ontario.
And Lenny would LOVE the colder weather!
And It's a managerial position in the steel fabrication industry. I have 10 years manging safety in pulp and paper.
And i don't think steel is going anywhere for a while????

South east huh?
So Beaumont (which is a little pricier), South Sherwood Park, or Nisku (where the airport is) must be the best depending on the commute.

Not stainless steel fab, is it? - pete26
I don't really care where i live....as long as its safe and taken care of. I will commute if necessary. Sounds like this position will lend itself to working from home a bit too.
I only heard the word steel and it perked my ears. But being in safety....it might NOT be the best choice.....hahahaha
