I really don’t like how Coots played that first goal. Yes Kuchorov burns Risto but Coots is also slightly cutting off Risto as he defends. Coots makes a bad read and by not getting to the outside of the far post. Goal.

My theory is that he hasn’t played in a while so that he could work with the goaltending coach to fix some of the technical flaws in his game. Looks like some progress may have been made.

At least Fedotov looked like a competent goalie. A refreshing surprise, hopefully he can play solid against FLA.

If You Keep Sanheim on the Left you have to keep him with Risto. That means York is likely paired with Drysdale and Seeler is on the 3rd pair with either Andrae or Zamula. I believe I heard on PHLY that York prefers the Left side as well.

Will be interesting to see if PHI carries 8 D or 3Gs for the season. Ideally they could do both and waive Deslaurier but thats unlikely.

I would not mind seeing Risto and York together. Seeler and Risto together right now seem redundant.
