Who do you have playing top pair mins with Sanheim then? Drysdale? Dont think hes ready. Zamula and Andrae dont fit the role. Dont really see Seeler as an option either unless you move Sanheim back to RD.

Only two we know work are Risto and York. Id prefer to keep Risto with Sanheim. He is playing well, the longer he keeps it up, the more likely other teams will have interest. Ive already seen an article on Dailyfaceoff listing him as a potential target given his strong play the last few weeks. Best to keep increasing that value.

They'll never reflect as long as behinds are in the seats and merchandise is bought.

This franchise, and a large number of its fans, are far too happy living in the past, and that's still working well for them.

I honestly don't believe the wake-up call ever comes, unless their next superstar (Michkov, or whoever it may eventually be) says screw this and turns down the crazy contract offer because he wants to win.

Things are quickly slipping out of control for Torts. Scratching MM to me is the last straw. I know he has not been playing well but neither has any other forward other than TK, and even he has been hit or miss. Six periods this year already with 3 shots on goal for the Flyers, how does benching Michkov help? Putting Richards in there for Deslauriers might though. I think there is a big disconnect between what the Flyers are and what Torts thinks they can be. The goal this season should be to take a step back and get multiple high picks to kick this rebuild several steps forward. But Torts is certainly not coaching that way. I wonder now if he will or should last the season as coach.

Good game, missed the 1st but the rest was exciting, good goalie play kept the Flyers down to 1 goal, could have easily had 3 or 4, they were getting good shots on Val.

Farabee had his best game of the season, Couts is playing more like a top six center, but was a bit overused in this game. Michkov will probably replace Brink who was meh or DeLo. Do they keep that Couts line together? Risto is legitimate, people have to accept it. Andrae playing better each game, so is Drysdale. Both are mobile, but Drysdale is the best pure skater on the team, you can see why they're intrigued with him, really nice agility forwards and backwards. If his brain catches up to his skates he could be dangerous.

Players are breaking out of funks, Tippett goal in the last two games and very active.

Agreed on your last para. They kept him out of games to have the goalie coach work hard with him. He seemed like a dancing bear out there before flopping and making the first move. Notice how Tampa kept trying to go 5 hole? He sealed that now. Looks like the work he’s been putting in paid off.

Well Sanheim and Drysdale have been playing 5 on 5 for 2 games now. If the perception is Drysdale is an anchor and they continue to play well- Sanheim's value should remain high. On Drysdale, I understand the frustration. However, they are going to give him every opportunity to prove to be a long term answer for the top 4. Pretty confident he has gotten all year. So I would not even have an issue with York and Drysdale paired. I just do not buy they would fail because it is a small pairing.

If anything, I want to maximize Risto's trade value. At his age to believe he would be a long term answer in the top 4 would be silly thinking, IMO
