Maybe he won't be on the board when we are on deck

I've always wanted the Sabres to get another OFD and I think DeAngelo could be a very good pick. I think we need Brendan Lemieux though as well. If Lemieux drops to us I say we should draft him. This team is weak on the wings and we really don't have a guy who plays his gritty and clutch style in the pipeline.

if he is, there's little doubt he's the best player available...may not be the best or most mature available, but...

I'm really not that big on ROR. It'd be a steep price for him and I really don't wanna give up Myers. The kid is turning the corner and if we don't trade him, we'd almost definitely have to give up our 1-way ticket to McDavid City

Its a fair price for ROR. Don't see Hodson here long term.
Ehrhoff window will be closing when we get good.
ROR would be a nice second first line wing great def center guy.

What if the Sabres really wanted to re-shuffle the deck..

That's why we are the worst organization in hockey.
You trade talent to get talent.
Hodson to me plays the same position as Ennis. 2nd center only need 1.
Erhoff is good but not elite. We have a ton of kids in the pipeline.
Myers can stay unless I get an offer that gets me a goal scorer.
