I long for the days when all there was to talk about and analyze was a players performance on the ice or on the field and sports channels consisted of games and highlights without all of their personality and politics mixed in |

This topic isnt likely to cause them to appear "unwoke". |

Go watch Robot Wars. There were always personalities in sports. |

If the accusations are not true, or at least can’t be proven, it could seriously affect Robin Lehner, as well as the future of professional athletes and social media. I could very much see a world where teams stop allowing their players to speak their mind on social media
Aside from Alaign Vigneault suing him personally (privately not as a member of an organization) for defamation, there isn't anything the NHL or PA could/would do regarding players posting on social media.
Can't terminate his contract, can't do anything. |

Lehner is a loose cannon. He shouldn't air his unproven allegations in a public forum. Hurts the team, the NHL and his credibility.

The most passionate about change should be the the advocates in the PA. It's 2021 and the NHL barely takes blame for its extensive concussion history. Out of all the sports, NHL players are the biggest robots. Personality should be celebrated, not shamed. |

good luck with that. Lehner clarified his statement as saying that AV was a piece of poop to his players and had nothing to do with offering them non prescribed drugs. Having an opinion about the man's behavior and tactics is simply that.

s it common for work places to give out benzodiazepines to employees when they travel and ambien ? Should that not be done by doctors or psychiatrist? Asking for a friend Eyes this doesn’t happen in Vegas to be clear. But I know many other teams. I also been in on teams that do?
#PhiladelphiaFlyers ? Dinosaur coach treating people robots not human. Fire these dinosaurs. Fire #vigneault first story. I got proof.. try to shake your way out of this one ….
If I was Vigneault's lawyer and wanted some free cash, I would go for it.

Social Media sucks It will be the downfall of the free world Run by elitists and the Media is compromised. Why anyone would want to be attached to it is beyond me |

Those days sadly are gone forever. All these sports leagues and players want is MONEY Greed rules sports today. Back in the day players played because of the love for the game. NOT TODAY. They cannot get enough money and the world is falling apart around them . Their attitude is WHO CARES Show me the MONEY |

Anyone on social media and especially celebrity types are attention whores who over estimate there self Importance as far as Robin Lehner Is concerned he thinks he's an advocate for all things right but he's mentally ill so you have to take what he says with a grain of salt or just completely Ignore him, If back peddling was an Olympic sport Lehner would have a couple gold medals. |

I love robin's candor. He has been thru something and is a big mental health advocate. If teams are handing out meds, thats a problem. This is no different than when NFL teams were shooting guys up with pain meds and then surprised that there were drug issues once the player was no longer part of their team.
Hockey guys dont seem to be big advocates for themselves but a few higher profile suicides are changing the dialogue. |

I like how people blame the teams while the players are just innocent victims. Pretty sure there are many, many situations where it's the players begging for a prescription so they can keep playing and earn the next big contract. Are there doctors who give in and prescribe some painkillers when they have some doubts...of course. But the players aren't being tricked into this. Lehner acts like teams are spiking their Gatorade.

Is there a story out there of John Tavares firing a med staffer for not giving him pills for a plane ride? |
