As it turns out your question/second hand observation wasn't even correct as Dots clarified what he meant by "bored" and it had nothing to do with Lev not being "engaged".

McDavid (one less game) and Matthews both 1 more point than Bedard so far this year…. Since we judge on 11 games does that mean he’s now at their level or they regressed and now the Leafs and Oilers are stuck with horrible contracts… lol

But with the way he is playing these 1st 12 games, a team would have to come and offer something out of this world.
He's already so good,and his contract is peanuts(r.i.p.).
Hopefully Korch and Lev live up to draft status/expectations

Ya don't misunderstand me, I'm not down on Bedard, he has no one to play with who can maintain the puck, Vlasic is just playing great.

I wouldn't mind him staying with Hall and Bertuzzi for a while like LR is trying this period.
