You are not the only one that feels this way and sees the bad product the organization is and has been trying to sell this very loyal fan base. I’ve been a loyal fan since 1968-70 season. The last few years have been a disgrace!
Changing coaches and goal songs will not be enough for me any longer! I can just imagine how Mr Ed Snyder would have handled this poorly run teams leadership group. I would love to have Bob Clarke tell us his thoughts with out any filters!
PS they probably are all nice people they just stink at hockey and leadership. |

I watched that game yesterday… they weren’t even competitive… hell their PK generates better chances than the PP…
And that shorty … we’ll that was a microcosm of the last few weeks …
Ouch. |

Yep that’s the easy way fire another coach keep the same poopy upper management that makes all the decisions and of course keep Claude the fraud as captain. And the beat goes on….. |

We've changed everything (seemingly once again), except for ONE thing.
THAT'S the piece that needs to be changed..... |

Too bad ya can't fire the owner! The Metro Division is so much better with a good/tough Flyers team. Here's to the fans getting a good thought out rebuild |

OK, so.........let's move on for a minute.
Who are you going to get?
Why would anyone WANT to coach this group of underachievers?
Reminds me of the year the Flyers management fired Terry Murray after we lost in the Stanley Cup finals.
Ok,...........so he got fired for being the SECOND BEST coach in the NHL that year?
AV wasn't the problem. He doesn't wear skates during the games.
When you have players making $7m a year and they have 2 goals in 22 games.....THAT'S the problem.
Leadership ON the ice is the problem, not behind the bench.
Once again, we'll stand behind Claude Giroux, and once again, the entire team is going to follow him with gutless mediocrity and into an early golf season. |

After 41 years I'm unfazed and no longer believe in anything this organization does. Another coach fired as we write this, and this organization is so bad and knows it's bad that it created a muppet to distract from the trash that this poopshow has become.
I'm done, there's no point any longer. Sports is supposed to be fun. This organization is the opposite of fun.
It's a disgrace and I no longer care. |

This blog is whiney, crybaby nonsense and nothing more.
Complaining about Dave Scott and how he's "not a hockey guy" means you're disconnected from reality. Dave Scott specifically has very little to do with how the Flyers are run.
No offense, and I mean this sincerely: people like you will never be happy. Is the "solution", in your opinion, that the team needs to be owned by "hockey" people and not a mega corporation like Comcast?
If so, you're essentially asking to become the Pittsburgh Penguins. Your complaints would still exist and only change slightly to how the team is "too broke to be truly competitive".
P.S The Flyers never had an opportunity to draft Patrick Kane.

AV fired with MT. Mike Yeo the interim???? Lipstick on a pig. Perfume on crap. CF still running things now with his buddy from Minnesota (tell me again what they won?) at the helm. Basically the same coaching staff or parts thereof. Reports say Philly hasn’t interviewed anyone or talked to anyone? That’s piss poor planning to not have ducks in a row. Funny how Vancouver has BB ready to go in one rapid movement. All personnel on the ice still the same. What’s that definition of insanity? Something about the same thing over and over expecting different results? |

I'm with you on Gioux to an extent, but AV isn't a good coach anymore. He WAS a good coach at one point. The game passed him 4-5 years ago and he's never adjusted.

Now we have a terrible coach: Yeo. What did Chuck learn from his time in Minny? Yeo did not do well there or in St. Louis. Flyers in free fall. Scott and Homer must go. Hire Rutherford and let him fix this mess. He is a GM who has won multiple cups with more than one team. |

Mike Yeo is without question the best option right now. "Lipstick on a pig" may be premature to claim.
We had a similar attitude about Berube at first. Instead of retaining him we let him go and he won a cup.
Find the positives for now: AV is gone and thats all that matters. The quote from Voracek about ultimately asking the team to explore a trade last year is all I needed to hear to know this decision was long over due.

You lost me at line 1. Yeo has proven that he can't do it. Multiple times. On the bright side, Philly's odds of having the #1 overall have just increased. Hope someone other than Fletch gets to make the pick. |

Mike Yeo isn't a bad coach and his record shows it. He deserves another opportunity.
Jim Rutherford is a dinosaur and shouldn't come within 100 feet of this team.

Dave Scott along with Paul Holmgren is directly responsible for where the team is today. They were both instrumental in losing patience and firing Ron Hextall who wanted to apply a patient draft and develop process. So to say that he has very little to do specifically with how the Flyers are run, is false. Fletcher is the President of hockey operations and the GM. Who does he report to?

I complain about Scott because this operation is his responsibility. It comes with the territory. Also, he ought to know better than to listen to Homer but apparently he did not learn this important lesson.
