Petersen, 4 goals on 12 shots. EETU is definitely getting a contract.

Montreal entered the O zone with relative ease. Flyers continued their boring dump and chase that has been their signature for the past five decades. Only problem is they are not fast enough to chase. SC and SL were invisible, and ND was -3 so we are in mid-season form. The Flyers could not keep up with Montreal.....

Kolosov should be like, wtf did I not just not show up and win the job? Ill be the NHL starter by January with these clowns.

I have no idea why Petersen is still around. A goalie in a local beer league would probably fare better than him.

Ya really….imagine not thinking you could beat some of these guys out for playing time. While I saw a bunch of positives in Washington, last night they were few and far between. I liked some of Brinks jump. I liked that D low understood not to pound a rookie into oblivion for trying to do the right thing by coming to the defence of a teammate (whether you think that’s a thing or not). Makiniemi looked ok..I thought Foerster was up on the play all night, especially in the first two periods…should have gotten credit for a goal….in the regular season…replay turns that call over.
\don’t want to poop too much on some younger guys….it’s early.

I can give you 5 million reasons. Or at least 3,850,000 of them....

Its amazing he was able to parlay one 20 win season in to that ridiculous contract.

I had visions of that game in Pittsburgh last year.

It's absolutely insane that he's still collecting a pay cheque really. I'd earmark him for the ECHL TBH. Also, I agree, I don't know what LA saw in him that one season that justified a contract like that because I have never seen anything but a below average AHL tender.

- Rizzo looked poised and assertive

- Eklind is a big body, protects the puck well. Can see a call up once he gets acclimated.

- Bonk was aggressive and decisive.

- hunter showed some good instincts. can see why the flyers like him.

Exactly, his contract is almost immoveable, would need to send a high draft pick along with him.

The only good thing is that it is the last year. So they just have to ride it out for one more season.

Laughton and Ryan P turned the puck over on the reg, that is what pre-season is for and since they are Torts Favs, they won't even get the evil eye.

You always need bodies in goal. That's all that he is this year. Maybe he adds some veteran guidance to the young guys also. Hopefully they do not get into a situation that requires him to play for the Flyers.

Waiting out the year is better than buying him out.

He is really missing an easy chance to be in the NHL this season. What a bozo.

Cal Peterson's agent is the man to get him that deal. Thank god it's the last year.
