That was as nasty looking a leg bend as I can remember. It just twisted. Laine wants to reclaim the mantle he had coming into the league and that was brutal to see. Still, this is why I don’t like long preseason schedules, IIHF or Olympic stuff. Someone always gets wrecked. The injury list is already mounting. Hope PL has a good recovery. Really just wants to get back on the ice.

Hard pass on Hoffman. He's not the player he once was for one and if he is still with that fiance/wife of his that he was with when he was with Ottawa, he's not worth the issues they might cause off the ice at all.

I have no clue about the former significant other, but that thing went nuclear. We’ve got a weird scenario. 5 kids who had to get permission to play hockey overseas and will testify via Zoom call, this and if I heard right Swayman was offered 8 x 8 and turned it down. Steady flow of players heading overseas (feels like). I have to pick a game to watch and one to sum up tonight. Bizarre preseason.

Pretty sure i will watch the Wings vs Pens game since the other is the Wings AHL team. Pens will likely ice an AHL team tonight though since basically their full NHL roster played last night in Sudbury against the Sens.
