Flyers still Talking to Sens.... regarding Jakob Chychrun

Gonna have to wait for the draft to see this one materialize, if at all. Rumor is the deal is contingent on who might be available at pick 7, if it's who Ottawa wants, they'll keep it, and if it's not, they'll flip the 7 and 12, send Chychrun or Chabot to Philly, and get forward help back, likely one or some of Laughton/Farabee/Foerster/ Konecny. Ottawa might eat a bad contract in Atkinson or Johansen in order to sweeten the deal and make the money work as Philly is capped out.

Frankly I'm surprised Philly is interested in a LD trade - they are way heavy on the left side already. Ottawa is likely interested in Oliver Bonk, given Radek played here, but can't see Philly wanting to trade away RD talent when it's lacking outside Drysdale.

I do like Foerester. Ottawa probably has little interest in taking back salary. My guess is a player like Foerster on an entry level deal would get their attention.

Philly fans are wishing for the 7th pick. Staios told Bruce Garrioch 2 days ago that he might entertain trading back 1 or 2 spots back, but that he didn't want to go beyond that.

It feels like this will be more about trading picks than personel changes. Depending on who is there at 7th, maybe Philly trades up moving 12 & 32 + a player. I doubt they are trading TK.

No chance in it being Foerster. I doubt TK will be a throw in.

Those GMs have all seen him play in person and have expensive scouting and analytical staffs tell them he is going to be a superstar. Not to mention he is one of the youngest players in college hockey today. Anyone and everyone would trade 12,32 and Laughton for him. SJ would of course laugh their way all the way up to the napa valley and then hang up the phone, but safe to say that is an underpayment for him.
