I don't like this move.
He may be great in the room and great at working with younger players, but he doesn't bring much, if anything, to the ice and is blocking the possible development of one of the youngsters.

The only thing young players can learn from him is what NOT to do. After we picked him up as a rental last year, the opposing team would score almost every time he stepped on the ice. Yes, I’m exaggerating, but he was out for an extremely large number of GA.

hes gonna ride the pine unless there are injuries. i would have offered him a 1 mill take it or leave it, but not concerned about him taking time from anyone. he will play 20 to 25 games unless they are banged up

Weird move. He is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, but he should have retired a year ago.
