I'm excited to see what he brings to the Hawks lineup. It was a piece that was missing and should only make us a better team.

I wanted KFC to sign him last season, along with Domi.

Even if he only scores 20G and 20A i think he will be a valuable piece like Anisimov was for Kane and Panarin.

I thought Perry was a great fit last year essentially doing the same thing except Perry has great hockey sense in front of the net. I don't think Bs IQ is as high but i also don't think it needs to be.

I believe an addition like B will help the PP. To me they really need a guy to step up and be the puck hound when they are forced to dump it in. Don't know if B has that ability.

You're gonna really love the part where he blows tires all the time and falls down without anyone near him.

Sounds like Panarin -- we already had that guy... so we're covered.

We've got like four other guys that do that now, so we're used to it.

His best season was the year he was banned from Canada. It might just be a coincidence, but someone should swipe his passport just in case

I love the part when the Loafs keep choking in the playoffs

IMO Bertuzzi is always going to be the player that has stretches of excellent play, and then stretches where you wonder if he even suited up.. But he is the type of player that shows up in the playoffs (i.e. Bickell, or Jake deBrusk for Boston this year.) He is a PPG player in the 2 seven game playoff series (one with Boston, one with the Leafs) that he has participated in.

Cool factoid. While the upcoming season likely will not see the 'Hawks in the playoffs, I'm hoping they are in 25/26.

Agree LA. In those cold stretches, I envision him as the whipping boy on this board. Hopefully he'll get off to a better start than in TOR. Given he'll get PP1 time and top line ice mates, this might not be the case.

Levshunov is injured and will not participate in the Kurvers showcase. He has a foot injury and will be in a walking boot for a few weeks.

Too soon! Even if prospects are coming up and being successful they will be quite inexperienced. Most of them will still be "boys."

My take is temper expectations on him being a big producer, he tops out as a 2nd line talent on a good team. He will get a little bit more PP time with Chicago just because we have less depth, but he spent most of this season last year playing with Tavares &
Nylander and they are pretty damn good offensive players. 45-55 points seems about right, but that's if he sticks getting more prime minutes IMO.

Per Tab at Bleacher Nation, the initial lines for the Kurvers event:

Landon Slaggert — Frank Nazar — Colton Dach
Gavin Hayes — Paul Ludwinski — Sam Savoie
Nick Lardis — AJ Spellacy — Martin Misiak
Marcel Marcel — Jalen Luypen — Ryder Rolston

Ethan Del Mastro — Nolan Allan
Lucas Brenton — Tnias Mathurin
Ty Henry — Wyatt Kennedy
DJ King

🥅 Drew Commesso
Ben Gaudreau

That second line looks like hell to play against.

I would switch Slaggert and Hayes. I don't why but Henry intrigues me. He is pure defense and from what I read, pretty good at it in juniors. Also is said to skate very well.

Let's be honest, these are initial practice lines. I'm sure the blender will be turned on a time or two.
