]I didn’t mention any small business plan. Which is by the way racist as can be.
Didn’t answer the question it appears to me.

Also many college graduates aren’t all that smart.

Huh? Another poster did, and you complimented his point literally 1 minute after the post to me.

It depends on how you define those terms.

In terms of strategy and finesse and the zero sum game of politics, you saw the best display of using an opponent's own characteristics against him since the Reagan- Mondale debate (I promise not to use my opponent's youth against him). She cut him to pieces with smiles and gestures.

In terms of big picture: sure, I agree.

Again, blame our times.

(frank) optics....im talking content......the fact that people are too stupid to value content over optics is an issue

She couldnt answer a single straight forward question and that idiot couldnt elucidate on a single lay up she would give him.....theyre atrocious

Do you even know what objectivity is since you doubt the 50k tax credit for small businesses plan would pass?

Things that don't pass Congress are things where one side of the partisan divide benefits disproportionately. Like educational loans write off (most college graduate tend to skew Dem, and most non graduates the reverse)

That is why the educational loan program was never brought before Congress. It would have failed to pass.

But neither party can afford to look anti-small business. It would be a very popular program. My guess is it would be 'bundled' with an educational loan relief program. The two sides would engage in horse-wrangling, and then something would go through.

No significant opposition can emerge to a plan like that. It would pass overwlemingly. The Dems would propose it, and if a Republican votes against it, they would not be voting beyond their term.

- PT21

It would never pass. Not due to a lack of popularity but due to a lack of being able to pay for it.

Those are not "optics". Those are carefully planned strategems designed to trip him up and reveal him to look temperamentally unfit for office.

You wanna talk about non-optics? Here are some non-optical facts for you which might have escaped your non-MSM reading blinkered vision..

The man inherited a pot of wealth and underperformed the stock market. There are gadzillions of verifications but here is Steve Forbes' magazine saying just that among others.

He also inherited an economy coming back after a long recession, with a huge pent up inventory, and the only meaningful thing he did was pass a gigantic tax cut, which did very little to change the trajectory of the recovering economy (as measured in unemployment fall, new jobs created, inflation rate and unemployment fall) but which did blew the fiscal deficit wide open. The first time iin the modern history of the economy when the fiscal deficit actually grew as a % of GDP during an expansion.

He failed in every single one of the economic targets he set. The trade deficit with China went up. The economy never reached anything close to the promised 4% rog. That pathetic Carrier plant he visited did close and did relocate abroad.

He behaved like an utter clown on the world stage, cozied up to scumbag dictators like Duterte, put tariffs on Canadian products because of national security issues, and then, created a freakshow in the first major test he faced, and then wanted his VP to not certify the outcome of a legal election he lost, and which he still continually denies.

In other words, his public persona mirrors his private one: How to ride the coattails of what has been given to him and do his best to damage it.

And this man is a serious contendor for President because his base thinks life is essentially a bar fight and a guy who acts tough and blows steam is competent.

And, so Mr. BlackHand, in this scenario, you object to optics? You have to deal with the reality of the phenomenon.

We have very few out adversaries. Most come from homophobic countries.

Though you would know about foaming mouths. Make sure to be wary of hungry Haitians.

Always fun here, gotta return to civilization.

They are optics. What you apparently don't understand is that we have a history of Trump at President. Our country was immensely better under Trump than it is under Biden/Harris. Which is what Trump should have stayed on track on in the debate. Harris and her MSM cohorts knew that they couldn't debate and stand on record and accomplishments. So they went after him to try and get under his skin. Unfortunately it worked. If it was strictly on policy, the Democrats and Harris have no chance.

Here is an optic for you. Forbes estimated that Trump is worth 7.5 billion. Updated on May 2, 2024.

All of what you post here is far left liberal rhetoric. We all lived under the Trump economy, sans the pandemic. It was a very strong economy. Gas was low and the country was energy independent. Prices were low and the economy was flourishing. As far as his behavior on the world stage. The Middle East was in peace talks with the Arab accords. Iran was held down and broke under sanctions and unable to do what they did to Israel. Tariffs were put in place to hold China in check. Russia was under control, as was S Korea. Now under Biden/Harris, we haven't been in as dangerous of a world situation since WW2. Were on the brink of WW3. Iran is close to a nuclear weapon and the Biden administration has funded them and the attack on Israel. China, Russia and S Korea are working together.

That is why he is a serious contender for President. Because of performance. Because everything was better under Trump. You live in a fantasy land of make believe. You're entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts.

Voters like you are why Harris even has a chance. You're uninformed and unintelligent.

Since you have no interest in reading it, you could not, by definition, know whether its content is worth reading.

In other words, you made a judgement of worth based on optics. Right after pooh poohing a different judgement because it was based on optics.

Of course there are ways of knowing whether it is worth reading without having interest. Just look at who it was written by

On a related note, here are some economic numbers that truly matter to Americans and how it affects their every day life.

From when Trump was in office, under Biden/Harris

According to the CBP. There have been 8.5M illegal border crossing encounters, with another 3M plus got aways since Biden/Harris took over. The economic cost of that as this past May to American taxpayers was 151 billion. Higher now

Gas is up 38% (AAA)

Food is up 21% (Axios)

Mortgage rates up 148% (Market Watch, Bankrate)

Home Insurance up 61% (NAIC)

Car Insurance up 118% (NAIC)

Real wages are down 2.29% (Bureau of Labor Statistics)

The price of electricity rose from 2021 to 2022 14.3% (Bureau of Labor Statistics)

According to the Energy and Commerce House subcommittee, the cost for an average household has risen $10,000 in just the first two years of the Biden/Harris administration

Inflation was 1.4% when Biden took over from Trump. It rose to over 9% under Biden/Harris

These are the real economy statistics that matter to every day Americans. What they're getting paid and what it cost them to live. There are certainly other numbers. All of them bad.

The economy under Biden/Harris is a complete disaster. National security under Biden/Harris is a complete disaster. Foreign policy under Biden/Harris is a complete disaster with the world heading towards major conflict the Middle East is a powder keg.

You have to be mentally ill to vote for a Marxist like Harris

In 2017 I stopped working at went to school full time I graduated in Dec of 2021 - I became gainfully employed in Feb of 22 - with dual incomes life is harder now than when I was going to school with only a single income. We also paid for my education - no loans - a few scholarships - we paid tuition and books in full each semester and financially we are worse off

I can not wait for those on the left to tell me how my life is better now?

Have you read the 16 Nobel Laureate economists ( All Democrats and Biden/Harris donors) who said the economy under Harris will be better than Trump? LOL

Similar to the 51 intelligence professionals who said the Hunter Biden laptop looks like Russian disinformation.

You are right they are correct - my life experience is wrong - I apologize to the masses for spreading disinformation

I forget that a bank account that has less money in it each month after four paychecks is a good thing due to higher interest rates

How could I be so stupid?
