According to Ryan Whitney, Sweeney tried to lowball Swayman and there hasn't been much discussion since. Also his agent is the same as Nylander had so holding out until December is not impossible.

Probably Korpi and Bussi. Then when Swayman signs they will probably trade Bussi or lose him on waivers.

If Swayman signs
Sure he will, but you never know.

I mean, there is always that option too. I really hope that isn't the case.

Like Whitney said, not sure why Sweeney handled the situation like this. Should have gotten Swayman signed either on an extension or gone to arbitration before trading Ullmark.

Yes "the spit up on yourself podcast". Don Sweeney proving he is a douche as well as a buffoon.

EDIT: It's also super cool how I quoted the comment prior to this and that didn't work. HockeryBuzz in mid-season form.

As I said in a previous thread, Sweeney screwed the pooch not signing Sway to two years instead of one out of arbitration last off season. That was frankly the only logical choice based on where the Bruins were with goalies at the time. No idea what the thought process was.

Sweeney was probably hoping Swayman would have an OK year so that he could bridge him for a couple more years. I would have taken the two year option at arbitration too. Would have made sense.

But instead we get his business as usual attitude

I'm guessing this is why Kaiser Soze is here. So Bussi or DiPeitro aren't lost to waivers or forced into a trade
