No you don’t, relax
- ClaudeFather

Yeah I do. And have for years of playing and coaching. Now, you relax.

Bingo! Seriously just buy time to have a play in front of you. This is not some super NHL coaching… I coached this in Bantam hockey. It is a dumb play …

I am sure the coaches will correct it 😉

Ton of time left on the clock and they literally just pulled the goalie... take the puck back and regroup. There was no pursuit on him.

It’s a broken record. Just nonsensical play.

Wow even worse than I thought. I watched the play again. 100% Zamula listening to who ever yelled then.

He's skating backwards, looking at Drysdale with stick down...turns away as the pass is coming to him and climbs in bench.

That's some garbage coaching.

No wonder why Michkov slammed his stick on the ice.

Somebody from the bench called for him to change, he doesn't just go off on his own.

Jamie is dumb for stopping just inside his blueline and trying to make an exit during a change instead of taking the puck behind the net and buying time for help to arrive.

- Tomahawk

Zamula gets no blame for at least waiting for the puck to leave the defensive zone? There was no gun to his head.

I have a screenshot taken with the puck already going to Zamula before he turned around. It was a bad change end of story.

Your screenshot doesn’t mean anything to me. That’s not a valid argument.

No blame. Bench calls for a change, you change.

The puck shouldn't be leaving the zone in that situation.

All the Flyers were coming back up the ice to change/regroup.

It doesn’t matter. Go watch the replay bc it was a disaster the entire way through .

We are arguing about the end sequence of a game but the fact of the matter is we got stomped again.

I am sure Torts has the answer and we go on a winning streak just after this 10 game losing streak.

Rinse, repeat, recycle… The Standard.

I don’t know about that. Drysdale needs an option, down a goal, the puck at some point needs to start heading up ice.

Might want to figure out when the Flyers will be ahead in the last minute of regulation. 7 games in a row and counting, no lead.

There's 2 (frank)ing minutes left, they're only one goal down.

That wasn't the time to rush. The entire NZ was clogged with Caps. No Flyers were moving up with speed or in any position to attack.

Just a dumb, dumb play by JD.

Sorry man. Not even trying to be heated and don’t mean to come across that way whatsoever. My bad if it came across that way.

I think we can all agree this team is frustrating as hell.

How many EN goals have they given up this year. At least 4, probably more. Dudes +/- are going to take a beating with all these regulation losses mounting.

Last 15 games last season-4-9-2

You are missing the point. The puck eas already heading to Zamula before the change. Zamula is face Drys, he sends the puck towards him and then he turns.

Drysdale had no indication he was changing until after the pick left his stick

When Zamula's head turns (bench calling him to change) Jamie still has the puck on his stick.

Puck already passed before call of change.

Narrative: Drysdale dumb dumb

Reality: No one is on the same page. Flyers are the Maple Leafs minus the high draft pick skill.

Again the play is made dozens of times during a game, who ever yelled change should be flogged and made to watch hockey instructional videos for a week. You don't EVER change the d partner until the puck hits center ice.
