Are you EVER happy about anything? They sent the kid down! That's what you wanted. Oh, stop the presses, he missed out on a couple of OHL games. Let's make a federal case out of it! WTF! - Phillywhiteout
You continue to reply with unintelligent hyperbole. Are you capable of anything else?

Hearing the Flyers will start Kolosov tonight, and also recall Andrae. This would be a good game to get Andrae in, since Montreal is a fast but small team. - jd250 Kind of a no brainer. I'm not even sure if Fedotov is an AHL goalie at this point. He may be more ECHL material. Now that is a bad look for the Flyguys...3.2 mil a year for that train wreck? At least it's only a 2 year contract. |

Oh stop already. It was great for the kid to get a taste of the NHL, he earned it with a strong camp. You are just looking for things to complain about! I applaud the Flyers for picking him over Buium and for getting him into a few games, but in the end doing the right thing and sending him back to junior a consistent player. - jd250
No, he didn't earn it. He clearly showed that he was not ready to play in the NHL at this point of his development. Because the Flyers used bad judgement and kept him on the team, doesn't mean he earned anything. Of course you would applaud the Flyers for making bad choices. You rubber stamp pretty much everything the Flyers do. Keeping him on the team was bad for his development

Oh, the humanity!!

The question is what do you do with your 3 goalies if Kolosov plays well today? Carry 3 goalies? What if he doesn't? They can't play Ersson in every game.

You don't seem to have the intelligence to realize that just because the degree of how much his development has been hurt is not perceived to be major, it can still be detrimental to the players development. Briere himself said yesterday that its going to take Luchanko a week or two to reacclimate to his junior team and teammates. If he was sent down when he should've been sent down, that would not be the case and he would've already had far more ice time and opportunity to develop the areas of his game that he needs to work on that he couldn't while remaining with Flyers. |

the jett didn't do much at all in those preseason games. didn't stand out. |

carrying 3 will create more unneeded issues imo. |

I think Fedotov needs time in the AHL regardless. Perhaps he can find his game and some confidence down there. |

This is the last back to back for awhile and Kolosov is the only waiver exempt goalie. I feel this is a one off to take the spotlight off of Feds. They can play Ersson the next few games and pick their spot to play Feds again. |

Both in my eyes. I thought he played pretty good early on and honestly we do not see this kid every day in practices and such. But in my mind the rubber hit the road when it was apparent that offensively he needs more time to develop. The place to do that is not under Torts…but in the OHL where he’ll be “the guy” a player in all situations…I still think the sky’s the limit for this kid. Big year for him. |

lol he didn’t earn anything. He was pedestrian at best in all his showings. And this myth of getting a taste of the NHl helping him is beyond stupid. |

I think the Flyers are like WTF….we need a save. It doesn’t matter from who. Regardless of waivers…both guys here have not played ANYWHERE good enough to not give Kolosov a look.
Why not? |

I am basing my opinion on the games only. he didn't do much at all to me. That isn't a knock-on him mind you. |

It all boiled down to Torts falling in love with him because he was in great physical condition, another embarrassing mark for the Flyers and their stupidity |

I saw a kid that defensively that could hold his own and was smart….but we didn’t draft him to be the next Scott Laughton. Nobody should knock this kid…he’s way ahead of anything I thought they drafted. |

I'm tired of the shots against Torts so I will rephrase and say, its better Luchanko develop his offense in the OHL, not the NHL. Torts and his staff have done a fine job developing players IMO. |

You can be tired all you want. Tortorella is horrendous at developing young players. His handling of Luchanko is an example.
