next 4 are Seattle, Buffalo, Isles, Boston. OTT NEEDS to go 4-0 even 3-1 would be bad.

Let's look at the Ottawa trade of DeBrincat to Detroit again.

Ottawa gets back Kubalik, a first round pick and a 4rth round pick and they get Donovan Sebrango (d-man).

Remember how many female doged, whined and complained about that trade.

Well, Staios turns around and includes the 1rst round pick (25th overall) to Boston as part of the Ullmark deal.
They draft Blake Montgomery (left winger, 6ft 4in) with that pick. Showing decent promise at this point.
Sebrango .... first off, go look at the goal vs Syracuse that he scored tonight. Freaking awesome. Not that he is a revelation or anything, but he does have potential to see some NHL games as he continues to develop.

Overall, a pretty damn good haul for DeBrincat. I'd rather be paying Ullmark the $8 million per year rather then paying DeBrincat that kind of money. Overall I think Staios did a freaking great job in rectifying that earlier DeBrincat trade. And on top of it all .... Staios dumped Korpisalo and that contract and term in the Ullmark deal.

As an FYI, I thought the Klevin/JBD pairing rolled out another solid game tonight. Nothing flashy. Just good solid, defensive work. I think as time goes on and their confidence increases, that some .... I said "some" .... points will start to come. Also, the Chabot and Jensen pairing had another good game. Solid puck moving and limiting chances.
On the forward side .... just WTF is Gaudette putting in his Wheaties. This has been a nice find for the Sens. The 4rth line has strung up 8 goals this year so far. Once Pinto comes back, maybe we can start to get the 3rd line going. Speaking of which ... it might be interesting to see this lineup ...
Tkachuk/Stutzle/Perron
Batherson/Norris/Giroux
Greig/Pinto/Gaudette
Gregor/Cousens/Amadio
MacEwen as the extra
Once everyone is healthy and ready to return.

i think Chabot is gone in the off-season, with Yakemchuk coming in next season having a 2nd pair of 2 offensive Dmen would not be good idea so i can see a Kleven-Yakemchuck 2nd pair with Sandy-Zub as 1st pair thus makes Chabot expendable.

I think the defense would be too young. With Yakemchuk on an entry level deal still, I would keep Chabot and bring Yakemchuk on a 3rd pair with Klevin (who would only be 2nd year). After that season .... Jensen's contract is up so you can let him go or short term re-sign him .... but then there is also how JBD is developing by then. Maybe by then you are also thinking of trading Zub and elevating a right dman to play with Sanderson.
Of all the d-men, with his injury woes .... maybe Zub is the expendable one.
