No offense to Calvin Pikard, but Skinner would have been much better served this offseason if the Oilers acquired a goalie that would push him for time and threaten his job. There's no question who the number 1 and number 2 in Edmonton is, which would be fine if Skinner was one of the top 10 or so goalies in the league. The rest, like Stew, need a guy pushing them.

Skinner played well last night, when he’s focused like that he’s a good goalie.
