Thanks Jeremy,
I’ve been calling for Kasper to play on the second line for a while. He adds a lot of things that Compher does not, speed, creativity and even the ability to chase down pucks. It really is time to get serious about moving on from Lalonde before the season is lost. The passive man to man defensive zone coverage just is not working. Before the season started all the talk was about more attention to detail in the d-zone playing harder defensivly and it looks as bad as last year and maybe worse. Petry, Gustafsson seem to hurt us more than help us. Being out shot two to one every night will only lead to a lottery pick unless it’s fixed soon!!! |

I was hoping you would hear this on the broadcast. Keating said that, to a man, everyone thought Kasper should have been on opening night. My feeling is now that it’s someone else’s problem when everyone is healthy. I got caught up in the Danielson hype. He is developing but needs some time in GR. Lombardi as well and Mazur can’t seem to stay healthy. Hoping he has a strong come back this year |

I too thought Danielson was close, I still think he will play 10-15 games this season. |

I think he will as well, just needs to make some adjustments. Kasper, to his credit, came back up like he was coming to stay. Lot of credit for his attitude in this |

Danielson with his first AHL goal tonight (on PP). Looking forward to seeing him play in GR this season. I still think this kid can be a special top tier center for the Wings. Time will tell... Hoping he can take somebody's job in Detroit next season. The Wings need this kid to really exceed expectations. |

One of Thompson’s goals was clocked at 104.69 mph, making it the fastest shot ever recorded by NHL Edge since 2021-22.
Have fun stopping that one! WOW! |

What changes can this team make to get more defensive? They're not going to outscore their problems. Being outshot 2 to 1 is never a good thing. I still see some complacency. The penalty kill is a joke. Right now, their record is not reflective of their performance. |

I did an embed on his first goal and on Seger’s. Danielson has managed to step up his expectations, no clue what his first AHL year will end up being like. Love his skating, overpasses/playmakes but he’s got some good tools in the bag. |

I don’t see a way that doesn’t involve personnel changes. |

If that's the case, are you thinking players, coaches, or a combination of both? I'm still not sold on Lalonde. Last season, they almost made the playoffs, but they had an unbelievable amount of come from behind wins. While those wins were exciting to see, that's not a great way to win games all the time. |
